Until is in beta preparation and is not yet publicly available. The purchase details below describe the announced launch model and apply when the relevant purchase becomes available. Any beta invitation may contain practical testing instructions. The App Store’s terms also apply to purchases made there.
When distributed through the App Store, the iOS app is licensed under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. These terms explain the Until service. They do not restrict rights or remedies that applicable consumer law gives you.
Your shared space
Until lets two people collect notes and photos while apart, then open the collection together through a deliberate nearby flow. You keep your rights to your content. Share only material you have the right to share, with the person you intend to pair with.
Keep your sign-in and invitation codes private, verify the person you connect with, and compare phone identities as instructed in the app. Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with its security or attempt to access another pair’s data. Providing a moment does not give us ownership of it or permission to use it in advertising.
Internet access is needed for account access and cloud delivery. Opening depends on compatible phones, Bluetooth permissions, a matching collection and both people choosing to be ready. The app is not an emergency communication service. Delivery or proximity at an exact time or distance is not guaranteed.
Three memories, then an optional unlock
The launch model includes your first three completed shared memories free. The allowance belongs to your Until account; unpairing or changing partners does not reset it. A pair’s free allowance takes both people’s previous completed memories into account: pairing with someone who has already used the allowance does not start a new free set. After that, an optional one-time purchase unlocks further memories for both people in the connected pair. Both people do not need to pay. This unlock is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
The App Store shows the actual price and currency before confirmation. No purchase is charged by visiting this website. A beta or test purchase does not establish a paid production entitlement unless the app or store expressly says so.
Opened memories remain readable on the phone without purchasing further access. An opening already in progress can still be completed if paid access changes, including after a refund. Purchases are verified through Apple and RevenueCat. A pending, cancelled, refunded or revoked purchase does not establish paid access. Connectivity and store availability can affect verification.
Restoration and refunds
Use Restore purchases while signed in to both the original Until account and the Apple account that made the purchase. Contact support if a valid purchase is missing. If the original Until account has been deleted, support may need to help resolve purchase ownership; creating a new Until account does not automatically transfer the purchase. This does not limit your applicable consumer or refund rights. One purchase covers you and your current partner. The purchaser keeps their own unlock if the pair changes; shared access does not give a former partner a separate permanent purchase. This is not a promise of Family Sharing, a transferable store purchase or access across other app stores.
Restoring paid access does not restore memories, encryption keys or an archive. A replacement phone may still be unable to open the original archive. If your original phone works, preserve its app and data and contact support before moving or reinstalling.
To request an App Store refund, use Apple’s refund process. You may also contact us for assistance or to exercise statutory rights against us. Nothing here excludes applicable withdrawal, conformity, refund or other mandatory consumer rights.
Storage, leaving and deletion
Your encrypted archive and keys are held on your phone. The cloud relay delivers encrypted contributions; it is not a recoverable backup of your opened memories. Until currently has no supported archive export, cloud restore or replacement-phone recovery. Keep original photos in a place you control.
Unpairing and account deletion are different from signing out. The app asks whether to keep opened memories on this phone or erase local copies. Retained memories can remain readable without signing in. Neither choice erases another person’s already opened copies or recalls keys already exchanged. A disconnected phone may learn of unpairing later.
Remote cleanup can continue after deletion is requested. Removing app data or uninstalling can destroy the local archive. Do not rely on reinstalling as a troubleshooting or recovery method.
Privacy, support and changes
Our privacy policy describes account data, encrypted delivery, purchases, optional alerts, providers and your rights. Support explains common problems and how to contact us.
We will investigate reported problems and provide remedies and updates required by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may update the app and terms to reflect actual features or legal requirements; material changes affecting existing purchases will be handled under applicable law and store rules.
